This Week’s Training Recap: It’s Fall!

16 mile LRWe went from 85 degrees and 100% humidity to fall weather in about 2 days this week.  I gotta admit, when it comes to running, I really do love fall.  It just makes you feel so much faster!

Total miles: 52

Sunday: 6 miles

Monday: 8 mi w/ 5×600 @ 5k pace + planks

Tuesday: 2 miles (to and from the gym) + crossfit + 4 (pm) + strides

Wednesday: 2 miles (to and from the gym) + crossfit

Thursday: 12 miles

Friday: 2 miles (to and from the gym) + crossfit

Saturday: 16 miles

High: 16 miles in 60 degree weather with on and off rain felt great.  COMPLETE turnaround from last week’s long run.

Low: Honestly, no real low this week.  Miles are backing off, the weather is cooling off, and I felt pretty good.
